Vuna is a South African PE firm that partners with premium family and owner-operated businesses, providing empowered equity risk capital alongside growth strategies and sustainability initiatives.
What sets them apart is their humanity — a small, humble team who care about what success looks like beyond profit margins. The stories behind their acquisitions aren't just about deal strategies and shareholding structures, but the people who built the businesses to begin with. That prompted a question: in an industry often seen as prioritising profitability over value preservation, how do you demonstrate a firm's very real commitment to responsible, people-centred transformation?
The Johannesburg-based studio answered with a custom-developed, content-rich website of interviews and insights that take Vuna's audience inside each investment journey. A clean, super-responsive grid pairs Neue Haas Grotesk with Freight Display Compressed, while monolinear Lottie animations float above a cinematic gradient spanning deep ochre to luminous coral pink — a digital-first identity that positions Vuna with its eyes on the future and its feet on African ground.
