ROCANI has developed the visual identity and motion design system for Sentient Labs, an organisation building AGI in the open — a platform embracing transparency and empowering a global community of builders. The resulting brand reflects networked intelligence at its core: a system where openness enables complex interactions to feel interconnected and legible. Central to the typographic expression is a precision-cut geometric typeface whose proportions and rhythm suit the brand's ambition of making invisible intelligence visible.
The visual language is built around fluid motion, luminous gradients, and evolving structures — visual metaphors for a dynamic system in which ideas connect and knowledge circulates. Colour played a pivotal role in the identity: rather than defaulting to technical, cyberpunk aesthetics, the team introduced pink as the primary brand colour. Combined with softer hues drawn from both scientific and humanistic traditions, the palette reflects Sentient Labs' emerging mission — technical at its roots, human-centred in its expression.
Three-dimensional animations bring form to intangible intelligence, depicting AI models, open networks, and idea exchange through systems in motion. The brand identity deploys structural visuals and gradient-driven compositions to reinforce Sentient Labs' commitment to openness and interconnection. Houdini was used for the 3D visualisations, with React and WebGL for the accompanying website — a digital experience that extends the motion language into live interaction.
